It’s so great to be back at London Fashion Week again to view the new seasons collections for ready to wear womenswear as one of my favourite British Designers Henry Holland of The House of Holland debuts his Autumn Winter 19 collection ‘Global Citizen’ on the runway. There’s always a great buzz surrounding his shows including the people watching and the who’s who of the fashion world come together to support Henry an amazing British talent which we are so lucky to see his work every shown each season during LFW.
On another note I could not decide what to wear today prior to show day and when I was informed there would be an after party later in the evening it was a wise decision to wear something more fancy for the occasion as you do. For launch event’s there’s that saying as you can never be too overdressed but in which case always make sure it’s practical, but still understated. I think less is more to make a style statement that will make an impression so you exude confidence when attending an event like London Fashion Week.
The show itself was an evening time slot so it made sense to go out readily dressed in semi formal wear which looks great in any case. I knew I made the right decision as normally some people make 2 changes of clothes in between shows and events depending on your schedule it can be quite hectic at times. Trust me I know from experience. My style generally has a monochrome colour palate but that’s just me I guess and sometimes I do like to switch it up a bit and experiment with different colours and textures. Other than that it really depends on my mood and how I feel on a day like today.
