Model of the moment, Sophie Longford, took to the runway to promote Stefan Roland Spring Summer 2019 collection at Paris Fashion Week today.

Her statement ensemble consisted of a billowing Gothic inspired dress, completed with sculptural avant garde silhouette completed with a black headpiece that falls elegantly behind the shoulders.

Not only is the fairy tale trend big news for spring summer, but by observing recent catwalks it looks set to continue into next season as Zuhair Murad’s Couture Bride look Aquatic Serenade says it all

The Ralph and Russo gown is the perfect example with its hour glass silhouette and fine embroided detail on gloves emphasized by the delicate intricate embellishments adorned on pieces.

At Ellie Saab the maison’s unique craftsmanship and intricate embroidery embroidery demonstrates techniques to create sumptuous textures that bring the delicate yet flamboyant extravagance to life. I loved the beading and sequins which translate the ever changing hues of shimmer in the collection Vida Paraiso

DESTINATIONS FOR SOME INSPIRATION
As last year drew to a close, my sights are firmly set on where to travel to next. I really enjoy visiting my favourite hot-spots close to home in Europe, but 2018 is all about venturing far and beyond on the travel front. Air travel has never been so accessible, and with new routes opening up to far flung destinations across the globe, now’s the time to get in on the wanderlust. So I went in search of stylish destinations travel bloggers are most excited about to give you an insight into what your next holiday destination should be like Here are the countries, cities and regions you need to tick off on your wanderlust list and inspiration for the foreseeable future.   [pt_view id="d7278d48o7"]

So far, I have worked on Sponsored PR campaigns with Monarch Airlines, Nau Hotels & Resorts and Blanco Beach Algarve. I was chosen by Monarch Airlines to be one of their Travel Ambassadors. They hired me for content creation in the travel destination genre to highlight some amazing places around Southern Algarve Portugal. I generally write about style, culture, and smart luxury travel.

GO BEHIND THE SCENES AT FASHION WEEK

FIRST LOOK BACKSTAGE DURING THE CATWALK SHOWS

Sometimes all the fun packed action is found backstage during Fashion Week before all the models and designer looks hit the runway within a matter of seconds. It's a models chance to shine especially if he or she is the designers muse of the season. The pressure is usually mounting at this point and leaving the Designer often contemplating is it about the male or female model or is it about the signature piece. At that moment the model no longer fits into the garment so it's a wild card for a new face on the modeling scene to get exposure. A new star is born as the lucky model is chosen by the Designer and gets to close the show wearing the signature piece. Everything must be presented immaculately as you see backstage on screen at a ZAC POSEN show, just like the fictional drama about working Models in New York City 'The Beautiful Life' staring Mischa Barton. Well, it's the closest example I can compare my experience to through the eyes of a fashion insider and it's more a less an accurate account of what happens behind the scenes. Take a look at some of these amazing photo's taken by a talented friend of mine and a Fashion Week regular commissioned to shoot for various publications so I can capture the moment for you viewers at home.

HOUSE OF HOLLAND PRESENTS AW 2018 COLLECTION ‘GROW UP’ DURING LONDON FASHION WEEK
[maxslider id="8753"] British Style has always been at the forefront of the Fashion Industry and who better to bring some edge to the runway this season than acclaimed Designer Henry Holland who also collaborated with iconic Brand Ben Sherman London during LFW Mens. He returns this season with the House of Holland to present an eclectic collection for Autumn Winter 2018 self titled collection ‘Grow Up’ shown at the BFC Topshop Show Space. [Rich_Web_Slider id="2"]     House of Holland Autumn Winter 2018 It’s definitely one of the most anticipated shows to watch during London Fashion Week and always full of energy buzzing with international press and loyal celebrity clientele. As per usual guest were entertained with hospitality with a drinks reception and delicious bites to eat pre-show as the fashionista crowd gathered for the show. The atmosphere inside the Topshop Show Space in the lead up to show time was filled with excitement as the VIP arrivals started to fill up the Front Rows amongst the fashion press, stylist and bloggers hot on the heels of social media to snap Instagram pics and update their content with live streaming of the catwalk show. Holland’s theme for this collection evoked street wear sub cultures influenced by the urban music scene and delicate uptown polished looks show contrast between hard and soft silhouettes. A combination of floral, camouflage prints and HOH signature tartan were motif throughout the whole collection while bold stripe details adorn tracksuit garment separates. Observing the looks which came down the runway show slogans emblazoned on garments especially hooded sweaters. House of Holland Autumn Winter 2018   Inflatable oversized puffa jackets had to be the collections signature must have items which looked so edgy when worn with cap hats. I thought Hollands take on mixing elements of varsity preppy influences with street wear made statements of youth and rebellion that depict the spirit of London Street Style is juxtaposed where uptown meets downtown crowd.

Beauty has so many forms, and I think the most beautiful thing is confidence and loving yourself.

As you may be aware from the proliferation of headlines that end in “…and the internet is very upset about it!” the Internet is constantly very upset about various things. Some of those things provoke quite understandable if not righteous upper. Other times though, the internet just seems bored and looking for something to kick around the ol’ Twitter echo chamber. The world of fashion meanwhile has a long history of provoking, teasing, scandalizing, and, dare we say it, trolling.

Actual scandal-worthy fashion moments aside, it is of little surprise then that occasionally otherwise inoffensive fashion items and objects get caught in the Twitter outrage cycle simply for existing. Would fashion really be doing it’s job in 2017 if it didn’t occasionally provoke such strong reactions online? We have little doubt that that was the point at least some of these designers (we’re looking at you Demna) were trying to make. Others maybe were perhaps just playing catch up on what they perceived as a trend.

For all the wonders of 21st-cuntury life – zippy internet, a taxi at the drop of an app, the ability to turn on the heating without being home – sometimes we wish for a simpler existence.

Fall decorating presents the opportunity to revel in luxury. Fabrics become more substantial, color palettes transition to rich hues, and just about every design decision for the season revolves around cultivating a cozy living environment. In an effort to help you make your space ideal for fall, a group of design tastemakers reveal the decor trends to expect in homes across the country this season, along with a few lessons you’ll want to consider.Actual scandal-worthy fashion moments aside, it is of little surprise then that occasionally otherwise inoffensive fashion items and objects get caught in the Twitter outrage cycle simply for existing. Mike Rowe, host of Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs, entered into the world online fashion critic earlier this year when he discovered a pair of $425 jeans on sale at Nordstrom’s from the brand PRPS. He positioned them as another volley in “our country’s War on Work.” He continued, “They’re not even fashion. They’re a costume for wealthy people who see work as ironic – not iconic.” Fair point. Really though we were also a bit offended that DSquared2 already did the whole purposefully muddied jeans a few years ago. In fact, Gwen Stefani was spotted wearing the originals when she first started dating Blake Shelton. See, there are occasional situation in which.

“Up until that point, people had been hearing exercise messages for the better part of the decade, but they weren’t sure what they were supposed to do,” says Shelly McKenzie, PhD, author of Getting Physical: The Rise of Fitness Culture in America. Cooper offered practical workout guidelines—setting the stage for what would eventually become a national fitness obsession.

The 1960s also saw the birth of the modern barre industry. The workout was invented by Lotte Berk, a retired German dancer who combined ballet moves, yoga and rehabilitative exercises to help herself recover from a back injury. She discovered that the workout helped her stay strong and supple, and in 1959, opened a small basement studio on Manchester Street in London, where she attracted a star-studded clientele.

Mixing urban attitude, boho elegance and rock ‘n’ roll spirit, she delivers a genuine French allure.

For all the wonders of 21st-cuntury life – zippy internet, a taxi at the drop of an app, the ability to turn on the heating without being home – sometimes we wish for a simpler existence. One where we trade in tower blocks for towering trees, power showers for lake swimming and evening takeaways for morning foraging. Right?

We get why people would be outraged from a certain view, but we also think at least some of these designers are in on the joke. Maybe the only question is what exactly the punchline is. Then again, when you think about it the entire world of high fashion is taking something mundane (clothing; we all have to wear it), and turning it into coveted and cutting-edge luxury items.

Life experience brings out different emotions and different perspectives on things. I just want to be constantly evolving.

People were absolutely astounded, at least in between that time that they read the Tweet or headline and when they actually go to the details, that Prada was selling a $150 “paper clip.” In reality, of course, it was a sterling silver money clip shaped like a paper clip (and when you really think about it, all clips really do the same thing). $150 is a lot for a paper clip, but it’s actually not that eye boggling when you look at other high-end money clips.

Knows exactly where she wants to take Diana next. “The story will take place in the U.S., which I think is right,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “She’s Wonder Woman.

She’s got to come to America. It’s time.” A THR profile of Jenkins hintsthat, while Wonder Woman took place during World War I, Wonder Woman 2 will be “contemporary-set,” though Jenkins told Uproxx “the plan” is to stay in the past.

“I’d like to bring her a little farther along into the future and have a fun, exciting storyline that is its own thing,” she told the Toronto SunMTV points to two obvious settings: the 1940s/World War II, because William Moulton Marston created the character of Wonder Woman in 1941; or the ’70s, in honor of the Lynda Carter-starring TV series.

London has been ravenous for ramen for some time. So why does Kanada-Ya – with branches in Covent Garden, Piccadilly and Islington – stand out? Its mission is “authentic ramen”, and it differs from most fast-food joints in that its noodles are cooked to order, hand-pulled and available in firm, regular or soft. The cherry on the top of this exacting approach is the 18-hour bone broth that the noodles float in. And what’s even better is that these umami-swizzling bowls are all served at breakneck speed. Slurp quickly and leave feeling smug you’ve downed a pond’s worth of delicious low-cal food.

Like exercise trends of earlier decades, it can feel like one more requirement of womanhood
